INglass-HRSFlow in cooperation with PME fluidtec GmbH provides a special hot runner system and dedicated Wit know-how.

Water Injection Technology processes are employed primarily when specific piping cannot be produced using conventional blow molding or injection molding (with the use of plugs and inserts).

Potential applications:
• Complex geometry and pipe length up to 1.5m
• Extremely smooth part surface.
• Decreased thickness and improved uniformity of part wall with consequent material savings.
• Weight saving.

Product manufacture:
This technology enables users to produce a wide range of piping where complex geometry is involved (e.g. engine cooling pipe fittings, engine oil measuring stick piping). It offers a viable alternative to aluminium and steel components and well-known extruded parts. On the whole, well suited for the manufacture of parts involving thick and lengthy walls.
