Advantages of moulding when there is no air in the cavity:
• Better filling
• Better component aesthetics
• Plastic "flash" is reduced
• Low pressures for filling and holding
• The mould life is increased by a reduction in chemical /attacks

Mold Closed before second phase Injection. The second stage cavity is full of gas which must be removed during injection phase through venting gas.

Vacuum Function, Gas Suction
In this phase the gas is sucked from the cavity through a specially developed cylinder and valve pin.

Second Phase Injection
The second phase polymer is injected and the absence of gas helps the filling and prevents burning.
