INGLASS/HRSFLOW TAKES ROOT IN CHINA TO REINFORCE THE EXPANSION IN ASIA

The Company is consolidating its drive to internationalization with the new plant that will serve high demanding globalized customer

San Polo di Piave, Italy - Inglass/HRSflow, working in the automotive industry and plastics processing, inaugurates the new factory located in Hangzhou, in HEDA-Hangzhou Economic& Technological Development Zone, Zhejiang province, conceived specifically for designing and manufacturing hot runner systems to start a massive penetration of the Asian market.

Present in 20 countries around the world with its own branches located in Oceania, America, Asia and Europe, Inglass Group continues its growth strategy and its global expansion consolidating its drive to internationalization. With the new plant, the company aims to assert its leadership in the Asian market through a high-tech facility, where it will follow the entire flow of development and production of the product. The new base will let Inglass/HRS to be quicker in serving both the local and the global customers who are increasingly assigning the implementation of its equipment to the Asian market.

The investment in the new China activities has reached 7.5 million. The building has the same logistical concept of the Europe Headquarter by keeping the same Italian style design. The working team of Hangzhou plant, which launched the first production process in early 2009, includes engineers from Chinese universities and technical institutes who are in the design, sales and customer service dept. 

The management is ruled by people with a long experience of the Chinese market. The know-how provided by the Chinese subsidiary will be integrated with solutions developed by the Italian company, thus creating a constant flow in the exchange of technical expertise.

The new factory is specialized in manufacturing, research and development of advanced technologies in the field of hot runner systems. The wide space will allow Inglass/HRSflow to expand its R&D by adding a new, larger test lab and offices. The test lab will feature state-of-the-art equipment and injection molding machines in order to meet the demand of technologically advanced products in the plastics processing.


The new operational site is located in one of the most industrialized and advanced in China where there are 15 universities including 8 polytechnics, with considerable benefits for the development of important collaborative relationships and partnerships for the company.

INglass, worldwide leader in the designing and production of molds and hot runner systems in the automotive industry, was founded (with the name "Incos") in 1987 by the will of the president Maurizio Bazzo. Initially, the company produces molds for plastics, specializing in making molds for car lighting.
HRSflow born in 2001 for the production of hot runner systems. In 2005 was created INglass, the actual name of the company, a division specializing in the manufacture of molds for car wide components made of polycarbonate (PC) instead of glass, a material that features high quality of transparency and impact resistance, holding the patent.
The production systems and the designing system are at the forefront and making use of latest technology, meeting the standard UNI EN ISO 9001: 2000 to ensure the highest quality products
